Exciting delivery of the Taktik-Trainer – with real practical relevance
Modular Training System in Use
Yesterday, another starter pack from the Taktik-Trainer was delivered to the Stadtallendorf fire department. It consists of a single-family house with a red gabled roof that can be used in a variety of training scenarios, for example to represent different types of residential buildings.
As part of the handover, the functions of the Taktik-Trainer were discussed and tested together with local emergency and command personnel. The feedback was consistently positive, particularly regarding the realistic representation of complex scenarios in both interior and exterior attacks.
Background: Fire at the Fire Station
The delivery took place in a special context: In October 2024, a major fire occurred at the Stadtallendorf fire station. The building had only been in operation for about a year. The cause of the fire was later determined to be a technical defect.
A large portion of the vehicle fleet as well as parts of the hall were severely damaged or destroyed. The incident caused significant material damage and required extensive reorganization of daily operations.
Expanding Training Capabilities
Mit dem Taktik-Trainer erweitert die Feuerwehr ihre Möglichkeiten, einsatznahe Abläufe realitätsnah zu trainieren. Es lassen sich verschiedene Einsatzszenarien darstellen – vom Zimmerbrand über die Erkundung bis hin zu komplexeren Lagen.
