Our long-awaited BMA-Trainer is here. With this app, fire departments and other emergency services can practice the entire process of responding to a fire alarm in a realistic manner—even in locations where no real fire alarm system is installed.
In just a few minutes, a digital building with floor plans, detector groups, and corresponding route maps can be created on a tablet or computer. In practice mode, the team works through the sequence as if it were a real emergency—from the initial alarm to resetting the system.

What is the BMA Trainer App?
The BMA Trainer app forms a full-featured digital fire alarm system .
Operation is based on real-world use:
- alerting
- Access to the building via fire department key depot
- Gaining an overview at the fire department information center / fire department display panel
- Analysis of the route maps
- Resetting the system
The Exercise control manages the scenario, participants respond in real time. This allows training courses, lessons, and exams to be conducted in a structured and repeatable manner.
Digitally recreating buildings – with floor plans and route maps
With the integrated Floor plan editor a building can be quickly digitally replicated:
- Floors and stairs
- Fire alarm control panel or fire department information center
- Detector groups and detector positions
Building on this the app automatically generates DIN-oriented route maps..
You can use these route maps to:
- Adjust manually if necessary (route, main access, and description)
- Export as PDF
- Print out and use in training

To start with, there are ready-made sample buildings and scenarios . You can start training right away.
On which devices does the BMA Trainer app run?
The BMA Trainer app can be used flexibly:
- Apple App Store (iOS / iPadOS)
- Google Play Store (Android)
- Wep-App for browsers
The web version is particularly suitable for Desktop-Geräte.
For one exercise, you will need:
- at least two end devices (tablet, smartphone or computer)
- an internet connection
