As part of our second delivery this week, we had the pleasure of equipping the Wittenberge Volunteer Fire Department with two new training systems. Delivered were:
The multi-family house enables a realistic representation of a wide range of operational scenarios – from initial assessment and tactical planning to the coordination of complex fire operations. With the additional basement and roof extensions, different operational scenarios can be simulated in detail and worked through together. This allows procedures to be discussed, decisions to be understood, and tactical approaches to be practiced in a realistic setting.
The training system is complemented by the Aerial Ladder Trainer. It supports training on the safe and effective use of aerial ladders and enables different positioning and ladder access concepts as well as tactical decisions to be clearly demonstrated and practiced. Together, the two training models provide a valuable basis for varied and realistic training sessions.
