To wrap up our delivery series from last week, we had the pleasure of equipping the Hameln Fire Department with new training systems. Delivered were:
- Multi-family home
- Basement
- Gable roof
- Garage
- Drehleiter-Trainer in daylight fluorescent red
- Equipment Set with Hoses
The new training models provide the Hameln Fire Department with a wide range of options for realistic training and continuing education. The multi-family house allows a variety of operational scenarios to be simulated – from basement fires to scenarios in the roof area. The system is complemented by the Aerial Ladder Trainer, which enables different positioning and ladder access concepts as well as tactical decisions to be clearly demonstrated and practiced. The expanded equipment set with hoses further extends the training possibilities and provides an even more realistic representation of operational procedures.
The handover also provided an opportunity for an in-depth exchange of expertise. Together with the members of the Hameln Fire Department, we tested various operational scenarios directly on the training models and discussed different tactical approaches. These conversations are particularly valuable to us, as they show us how our models are used in practice while also providing important input for their further development.
With a combination of professional and volunteer firefighters, the Hameln Fire Department responds to around 1,200 incidents each year. We are therefore all the more pleased that our training systems will now contribute to the training and continuing education of their emergency personnel.
We would like to sincerely thank the Hameln Fire Department for their trust, the pleasant handover, and the open exchange of expertise. We wish you every success with your new training systems and safe operations at all times.
